MK is an experienced telecom executive having spent over 20 years in the telecom and technology field. During his career, he has been in technical and management positions with Hewlett Packard Co, Tandem Computers, GRIC Communications as well as Syniverse Technologies. He has taken on roles in these companies ranging from regional sales management to corporate positions for global product management. In 2000, MK a key member of the founding team of GRIC Communications (San Jose CA USA) that took the company to a successful IPO on NASDAQ. Investors in GRIC included Vertex Capital as well as Singtel Ventures. The same team founded Aicent Inc (CA USA) in 2002 which counted Warburg Pincus, Vertex Capital, iGlobe Partners, Intel and Qualcomm as early investors Through a PE transaction by TA Associates (Menlo Park CA USA), MK participated in Aicent’s acquisition during 2014 by Syniverse Technologies owned by the Carlyse Partners Fund V. MK is currently also a venture partner for iGlobe Partners, and has venture holdings in MatterPort, NerdWallet, Unity Software amongst others. MK holds a BEng. George is a reputable corporate executive, entrepreneur, and investor with 20+ year proven track record in Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sectors. He is currently a Partner with IN285 and Venture Partner with BHR Partners. Previously, George served as senior executive at several Fortune 500 companies, including Corporate Vice President at Ericsson and Chief of Technical Operations at Lockheed Martin. As the founding member, Chief Information Officer, and Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Neustar (initially funded by Warburg Pincus), George was instrumental in its successful IPO on NYSE. George holds a BS in Physics from Zhejiang University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Northwestern University. He is bilingual and bi-cultural, and has lived and worked extensively in the US, mainland China, Taiwan, and Singapore.
